Black Stars skipper Dede Ayew has bid Xavi Hernandez goodbye as he departs Qatari side, Al Sadd, for the vacant Barcelona FC coaching job.

In a tribute to his former Coach, Dede Ayew said he feels proud to have worked with a legend who truly understood the game and gave him the chance to thrive at Al Sadd.

According to him, he has learnt so much from the former Barcelona player and has been infected with his humility.

In a Twitter post with accompanying photos, the former West Ham United player who has become an integral member of the Al Sadd team wrote:

Mister thank you for everything Ur humbleness is unique, learned so much in these few months. Proud to have worked with such a legend  May Allah bless ur new chapter Good luck Mister!

Xavi Hernandes has accepted the new Head Coach job at Barcelona after the Catalonians parted ways with Ronald Koeman after a poor round of games.

Xavi is expected to turn the team around and replicate the good works he did at AL Sadd by helping them win major trophies at a rapidly depleting Barcelona team.
