A Ghanaian man has posited that the arrest of Shatta Wale and Medikal made IGP Dampare a celebrity in a shorter amount of time.
Dampare engineered the arrest of Shatta Wale and Medikal in the space of 2 days after they faked a gun shooting incidence and brandished a gun in a video posted on social media respectively.
Following their arrest, the IGP became the most popular person on the internet and has since been feared by many.
Their arrest according to the young man in the video below has made the IGP popular and also raised the bar high for the Ghana Police Service.
He also posited that boys on the street who were ignorant about the law concerning brandishing a gun and causing fear and panic has been educated on the two subject matter and going forward will deter people from committing such crimes.
