Ghanaian dancehall musician, Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jnr., well known as Shatta Wale has also unfollowed almost everyone on his Instagram page, now follows only three celebrities.

This comes shortly after the musician was arrested by the police within the past week. He was accused of causing fear and panic after pulling up a publicity stunt by faking a gun attack on himself at East Legon.
He was arrested alongside three of his crew members who were also accused of publishing the fabricated news on social media.
Shatta Wale was arraigned before the Accra Circuit court was remanded into police custody for one week. He was then transferred to the Ankaful prison in the Central region along with his three crew members. He was granted bail of GHc100,000 as well as his crew members, Nana Dope, Gangee, and Deportee.
After he was arrested, some of his fans and his fellow celebrities took to social media to champion a #FreeShattaWale campaign which trended on social media for some days. However, some of his colleagues kept mute over the incident with others condemning him for his actions.
In view of that, Shatta Wale has now unfollowed every celebrity on his Instagram page, now follows only three celebrities, Medikal, Fella Makafui, and the Jamaican dancehall maestro, Vybz Kartel.
