As many hoped to see a scuffle between the leader of the NewLife Kingdom Chapel International, Stephen Kwasi Appiah, otherwise known as Jesus Ahuofe, and the dancehall musician, Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jnr, well known as Shatta Wale following a doom prophecy made by the former about the latter, there is rather a friendship brewing between them.

Recall, Jesus Ahuofe during an interview on Accra FM revealed that a dancehall musician by the name of Charles will be shot dead on the 18th of October. The prophecy happened to be about our very own Shatta Wale since he is the only popular dancehall musician with the name Charles.
In relation to this, Shatta Wale on the exact day the prophecy was supposed to take place pulled up a publicity stunt about a shooting incident at East Legon. He was arrested by the police along with two of his crew members who aided in plotting the stunt by circulating it on social media.
Jesus Ahuofe was also arrested by police. He was remanded into police custody but he was later granted bail by the court.
Speaking in a recent interview on Adom FM, Jesus Ahuofe stated that Shatta Wale told him that they will become the best of friends after the case was done in the courtroom. He narrated how they had neither met one-on-one nor had an encounter, except for the prophecy of doom he publicly revealed about Shatta.
“When we were going to court and he saw me in the police van, he recognized me and told me we will be friends after the court case. That’s what he told me,” he said.
When questioned if Shatta Wale resented him for placing him in prison, Jesus Ahuofe said that the former recognizes it was just a vision and that no harm was done.
