In a press conference held yesterday, the IGP warned Ghanaian prophets against all kinds of prophecies that end up endangering the lives of people. He warned prophets against doom prophecy. He added that any prophets without evidence of his prophecy will be arrested and persecuted.

This warning from the IGP comes after the dramatic Shatta Wale shooting incident that happened a week ago. This drama occurred after the artist was given a doom prophecy by a man of God called Jesus Ahuofe.

In reaction to the warnings of IGP Dampare, Prophet Nigel Gaise has taken to his Facebook page to slam the directives of the IGP. According to him, when a Muslim in Ghana gets power, he uses it to protect Muslims but when a Christian gets the same, he rather uses it against Christians and the church.

“When a Muslim gets power, they use the power to protect and project Islam but when a Christian gets power…THEY USE IT AGAINST THEMSELVES AND THE CHURCH…” he wrote.
