Kumasi Asante Kotoko FC aka The Porcupine Warriors have ended their Dubai pre-season tour and are currently in Greater Kumasi.
Asante Kotoko spent two weeks in the United Arab Emirates where they intensified preparations for the upcoming Ghana Premier League season.
But the sad story is that Asante Kotoko played three friendly matches against third-tier clubs in Dubai and recorded no victory.
They lost their first game 1-0 against Al-Hilal.
In the second game, new recruit Stephen Amankonah scored but it was not enough as Kotoko was held 1-1 by Liwa FC.
Kotoko played their final game on Thursday against Laliga Academy HPC. The match ended 1-1.
The 2021/22 season will commence next weekend. Asante Kotoko will play their first game against Dreams FC in Dawu.
