Shatta Wale trial: "I hope this doesn’t go too far as they did to me, I pray you're released soon" – Kwaw Kese

Ghanaian rapper Kwaw Kese is praying Shatta Wale does not suffer the same fate as he did in 2014 when he was arrested for smoking marijuana publicly.

Reacting to the latest news on Shatta Wale and the three others who have been remanded for 7 days, Kwaw Kese says he wishes him well and prays for his early release from police custody.

In a tweet, Kwaw Kese revealed how he felt the trial of Shatta Wale could be prolonged which could see him spend more time in prison.  Although their relationship has been fraught with controversies, beefs and hostility, Kwaw Kese has wished him well.

Kwaw Kese paid the fine and served the one-day jail sentence.

The musician was on remand for over a month at the Kumasi Central Prison before he was bailed on December 30, 2014.
