Funny Face made his first appearance in court today and albeit the gravity of his case, he injected doses of humour into proceedings today.

As reported by StarrFM, the comedian and actor has been referred to the Psychiatric Hospital for re-examination but prior to that, he was charged with one count of threat of death by the Kaneshie District Court.

Even though the charge was read to him in the court presided over by His Worship Kofi Oheneba-Kuffour, his plea was not taken because of his behaviour. He however begged the court not to be taken to the Psychiatry department of the Korlebu Hospital.

According to him, the people there fart too much and he couldn’t bear it. The court then ordered that a psychiatric examination be conducted on him before ‘proper’ judgment can be passed. He is also be subjected to substance abuse examination at the Police Hospital.

Funny face is expected to reappear on November 10.

In a related development, Ghanaian comedian Derrick Kobina Bonney (DKB) hd a field day on Twitter poking fun at Funny Face and Psalm Adjeteyfio after they both dominated social media discourse for various reasons.

While Psalm Adjeteyfio, widely known as TT is all over the place begging for money to alleviate him of penury, Funny Face caused a stir by launching a scathing attack on Fadda Dickson, Bola Ray, and long time friend Emmanuel Adebayor while hurling her baby mama Vanessa into the chaotic mix.

To this end, DKB suggested he has no rich friends like Funny Face who’ll randomly give him cash gifts and automobiles. He says if this sort of privilege is not forthcoming, then he would end up throwing tantrums and literally beg for alms like TT.
