“Brother Sammy Is Just An Entertainer, Not A Gospel Artist”-Whitney Boakye Mensah Says [Video]

Ghanaian Entertainment pundit and event planner, Whitney Boakye Mensah has described Brother Sammy, the Nation Worshipper as an entertainer and not a gospel artist as he claims to be.

During an interview on the United aired on United TV with Abeiku Santana, Whitney stated that Brother Sammy will only be accepted as an entertainer and not a gospel musician because his norms do not conform to that of the gospel fraternity.

Her comments came after Brother Sammy recorded a remix version of Yaw Tog’s “Sore” hit song, delivering some gospel lines in it yet many condemned him for recording a secular song while being a gospel artist.

However, Brother Sammy stated that he will gladly add entertainment to his craft because that has been one of the best ways adopted by preachers in winning souls for God. He claims that his style is very different from other gospel artists in Ghana, thus he sees entertainment as the best way to win more souls for God.

In other news, Ghanaian dancehall artist, Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jnr., well known as Shatta Wale has made shocking claims that he is a man of God and also communicates with spirits but most people have no idea about that.

Speaking in a space interview with the Twitter influencer, KalyJay, Shatta Wale stated that the experiences and struggles he has gone through in life have given him the right to label himself as a man of God.

He claims that he communicates with spirits who guide him through his journey in the music industry, thus he does not engage or make any utterances without the direction of the spirit of God.
