Ace Ghanaian rapper, Kwame Nsiah-Apau, professionally known as Okyeame Kwame has recounted his experience after his grandmother passed away some time back, saying that he was very happy upon hearing the sad news.

It is very unnatural for one to be happy after losing a relative unless one caused the demise or aims at gaining something from the deceased and can only get it when the person is dead. However, others only express their joy especially after the deceased has found a resting place after toiling on the surface of the earth.
Okyeame Kwame while speaking in an interview with Andy Dosty on the Daybreak Hitz show on Hitz FM revealed that he was happy upon hearing that his grandmother has kicked the bucket but he cried a little.
The rapper who claims nothing makes him sad stated that his late grandmother was 101-years-old, thus he was happy she finally gave up the ghost. He said when she lived, she always dreams that her late mother calls her to join her in the land of the spirit so her death came as a joy to him because she has reunited with her late mother.
He also revealed that the conditions in which the woman was in weren’t good enough on the account that she has to be fed through tubes.
He said;
“She was too old and it got to a point she couldn’t eat so she had to be fed through a tube to her stomach. I was happy she finally got what she was praying for,”
