Cristiano Ronaldo faced off with Russian UFC fighter Khabib Abdulmanapovich Nurmagomedov in what looks like a prep before a great fight.
That was how the Manchester United forward decided to jokingly welcome Khabib to Old Trafford who came in the company of his team to witness a match.
Subsequently, the two hugged to send the message that the faceoff which is done before a critical bout was not a serious one in the slightest.
Khabib, a staunch fan was given a signed Cristiano Ronaldo shirt and he expressed his appreciation in an Instagram post by writing:
“It’s a great honor to visit this legendary stadium, by invitation of the legendary football club Manchester United.
“Thanks for warm welcome.
“I hope Cristiano Ronaldo and David Beckham wouldn’t mind that I got number 7 .
“I’m not going to take a loss in this T-shirt, cause I will hang it on the wall in the frame, at most visible place in my house.”
