As to her best knowledge and experience in the game as a lifestyle and relationship blogger, the majority of young ladies in Ghana need a job not a boyfriend, ceteris paribus.
According to her, most ladies in the Ghanaian dating setting enter relationships just to disturb men with Mobile Money (MoMo) and basic material things from these men, which makes these men be under serious pressure to provide for them.
“When a woman is working and she is financially independent, she will be able to provide for herself instead of over-demanding all the time from these men. This has made a lot of ladies prioritize their taste or kind of guy on a man who can only provide for them in the dating process..”
In a chit-chat with DJ Budah, Akosua Boatemaa asserted that a relationship is not synonymous with a job opportunity. So, it beats her imagination to realize that a lot of women look up to rich and over-generous men all in the name of spoiling them with gifts and material things.
Consequently, the ladies ditch finding a man who has a great vision and has what it takes to build a future with them.
She concluded by saying, “a lot of ladies have compromise in the relationship due to the gifts and luxury things they receive, knowing very well the guy doesn’t respect or treat them right emotionally”,
