Nollywood great, Jim Iyke has finally responded to claims made by Ghanaian Dancehall act Shatta Wale that they share a close resemblance.
Days ago, the leader of the ever vociferous Shatta Movement took to Facebook to blurt out that a lot of people compare his looks to that of the Nigerian actor and this is something he’s been hearing of late.
His post spark wild reactions but the neutrals believed it was a typical Wale’s template designed to have his name on the lips of everyone.
Jim Iyke swiftly refuted his opinion in a fresh interview on Joy FM’s Cosmopolitan Mix. He said the Gringo hitmaker is just having a good time but he doesn’t think he looks like him. He said, Shatta Wale doesn’t think I look like him, he is just having a good time.
I have heard of Shatta Wale, and it’s most flattering for people to say I look like him.
Meanwhile, Sadiq Abu Abdulai has shredded Shatta Wale again by mocking the dirty image he wallows in and the fulcrum around which his personality revolves.
In furtherance of their ongoing beef, Sadiq used Sarkodie’s enviable professional attitude to spite Shatta Wale by saying while King Sark has become a leader and influencer, his antagonist dabbles in reckless comments and buttocks showing gimmicks.
This was on the heels of Sarkodie’s visit to the CEO of the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC) Yoofi Grant where they reportedly discussed the business prospects of Ghana’s creative industry.
A tweet to that effect emerged saying;
The rap king, @sarkodie paid a courtesy call on our CEO @RYofiGrantearlier today, to discuss some exciting business prospects of Ghana’s creative industry.
The boss of 3Music awards found ample time to perfect time to get under the skin of Shatta Wale and the screenshot below contains his savage utterance;
