Sept. 27 (UPI) — Google is celebrating its 23rd birthday with a new Doodle.
The company’s homepage features a chocolate cake with sprinkles that has the number 23 written on it. Google’s logo also has chocolate frosting with sprinkles on it.
The cake eventually gains eyes and an arm that tips the top half of the cake like a hat.
Google recounted its history and how it was founded by Sergey Brin and Larry Page in 1998 while the pair were at Stanford University developing a search engine.
“A chance encounter between two computer scientists changed the course of the Internet and the lives of millions,” Google said.
Google also noted that billions of searches happen on its website every day in more than 150 languages around the world.
