Sept. 23 (UPI) — Netflix is giving a glimpse of Emily in Paris Season 2.
The streaming service shared first-look photos for the season Thursday featuring Lily Collins as Emily Cooper, a 20-something American who moves to Paris for a job at a French marketing company.
One of the photos shows Emily (Collins) with Gabriel (Lucas Bravo), a chef and her love interest from Season 1, while another features a moment between Emily and Alfie (Lucien Laviscount), her new love interest in Season 2.
“Finally, a first look at @emilyinparis Saison Deux!!! So excited to be sharing the screen with this incredible cast. Can’t wait for you guys to see everything that’s coming. You’re in for a real treat. Until then, bisous bisous!” Collins wrote on Instagram.
Laviscount, an actor known for his roles on Coronation Street, Scream Queens and Katy Keene, joined the series in May.
Laviscount’s Alfie is described as “a Brit who gets under Emily’s skin before she starts to like” his “sarcastic charm.” TV Line said the character is “a sarcastic and charming cynic who refuses to speak French or immerse him in French culture.”
Jeremy O. Harris and Arnaud Binard have also joined the cast of Season 2.
Emily in Paris is created by Darren Star and co-stars Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu, Ashley Park, Samuel Arnold, Bruno Gouery, Camille Razat and William Abadie. The series will return for a second season this year.
