Sept. 22 (UPI) — Google is celebrating the arrival of autumn and spring with new Doodles on its homepage Wednesday.
Both drawings feature an animated walking hedgehog in place of the second “o” in “Google.”
In the autumn artwork, which marks the beginning of the season in the Northern Hemisphere, the critter is festooned with orange, yellow, brown and red leaves, as well as acorns. The other letters in the word are also shaped and colored to look like leaves.
Click on the “Google” and a cascade of leaves flutter across the screen.
The spring sketch, which marks the beginning of the season in the Southern Hemisphere, dresses the cute creature in greenery and brightly colored flowers. The other letters in the word are also interpreted as pretty blossoms.
