Sept. 17 (UPI) — Lil Nas X released on Friday his debut studio album titled Montero alongside a series of videos, including one where he gives birth to the project.
Montero is available to stream through Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, Deezer, Soundcloud and Tidal.
The album contains the singles “Montero (Call Me by Your Name),” Sun Goes Down,” “Industry Baby” and “That’s What I Want.”
The rapper is pregnant and receives help from doctors inside of a hospital in a comedic birthing video.
Lil Nas X also released visuals for album tracks “Lost in the Citadel;” “Scoop,” featuring Doja Cat; “Dolla Sign Slime,” featuring Megan Thee Stallion; “Life After Salem;” “Am I Dreaming,” featuring Miley Cyrus; “The Art of Realization,” “One More,” featuring Elton John; “Don’t Want It,” “Tales of Dominica,” “Dead Right Now” and “Void.”
“That’s What I Want” received it’s own dedicated music video that features Lil Nas X as a football player who hooks up with another player inside of the locker room. Lil Nas X later has his heart broken and plays the guitar while wearing a wedding dress.
Lil Nas X was a big winner at the 2021 MTV Video Music Awards, where he took home Video of the Year for “Montero (Call Me By Your Name).”
The 22-year-old will also be a guest star on Disney’s upcoming revival of animated series The Proud Family.
