Sept. 15 (UPI) — Peacocks and BuzzFeed announced on Wednesday that Snoop Dogg and Martha Stewart will reunite for a baking competition. Snoop and Martha’s Very Tasty Halloween premieres Oct. 14 on Peacock.
Teams of three bakers each will compete to bake 12 square foot Halloween themed confections that are also immersive experiences. The rules state each team must use the concept of fear for inspiration.
Stewart and Snoop Dogg will judge the entries along with chef Alvin Zhou. BuzzFeed Studios, Magical Elves and Snoopadelic Films produce the hour long special, the first of BuzzFeed’s development deal with Peacock.
Snoop Dogg and Martha’s friendship dates back to the rapper’s 2008 appearance on Stewart’s daytime talk show. Since the 2016 Comedy Central Roast of Justin Bieber, they have capitalized on their chemistry even further.
The duo co-hosted this year’s Puppy Bowl and hosted Snoop and Martha’s Potluck Dinner Party on VH1 in 2016. They presented together at the 2017 MTV Movie and TV Awards.
Stewart, 80, recently underwent surgery for her Achilles tendon. Snoop Dogg, 49, recently competed at this year’s Pro Bowl and joined The Voice as the Mega Mentor.
