Journalists who trooped to the Accra Circuit Court on Monday morning to cover the trial of the founder and leader of the Glorious Word and Power Ministry International, Rev Isaac Owusu-Bempah, received the shock of their lives when bodyguards of the religious leader prevented them from doing their work.
According to Angel News’ Ama Brako Ampofo who was in Court as at the time the man of God and three others were brought there for trial, security officers aligned to the camp of Prophet Owusu-Bempah did all they could to prevent journalists from entering the court room.
Speaking on Angel FM/TV’s Midday News on Monday, Ama Brako Ampofo said the bodyguards over-powered the police officers and managed to get all the media personnel from entering the court room to monitor proceedings.
And this to her, is unheard of indicating that this is the first time that the court reporters have been prevented from covering proceedings.
