Veteran Ghanaian actor Psalm Adjeteyfio has disclosed how he used to be paid peanuts for his acting gigs.

According to the actor who goes by the nickname TT for his first series “Taxi Driver” that shot him into fame, he has never been paid more than two thousand Ghana cedis in his life.

” when I hear these young actors talking about getting paid 5k on their acting job, I was shocked. The series I featured in paid me enough to feed myself. What they usually call “hand to mouth”. I’ve never been paid anything above 2k. That’s why I get surprised when people think I am rich and have a lot of money. The movie industry doesn’t help us at all. You only get famous but nothing else.”

TT went ahead to lament about how he can’t afford to pay his rent because of all the struggles.

But fortunately for him, Ayisha Modi has offered to pay off all his rent and give him extra cash for his upkeep.
