Afrobeat singer and Highly Spiritual music signee, Mr Drew, has regrettably responded to claims that he stole FireBoy’s “Peru” for his new song Shuperu.
Mr Drew has been tagged as a song thief ever since his issue with Rotimi, where he was reported for stealing a song and had copyright issues on YouTube.
Speaking to Sammy Kay in an interview, he said he doesn’t even want to hear the word “steal” since it isn’t accurate; he didn’t steal the music, and also revealed he has heard people say that he did something similar because of the ‘Peru’ hit song.
