General Secretary of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), John Boadu, has described former President Dramani Mahama as a desperate, confused and visionless man who is scared of the achievements of President Akufo-Addo.
Addressing a press conference over the do-or-die comments made by the former president, he asked Ghanaians to forgive Mr. Mahama because he is under undue pressure.
The chief scribe of the NPP said because of the massive achievements of the current president Mr. Mahamas is having sleepless nights since he could not achieve what Nana Addo has achieved.
He mentioned the agendas 111 hospital projects, the one-district factory initiative, the planting for food and jobs and other policies have helped in transforming the lives of citizens, and for a visionless Mahama, he is not happy that Nana Addo has achieved what he could not achieve.
“We have discovered that the regional tour of President Akufo-Addo and the achievements have made Mahama desperate. As an opposition leader without a vision, and one who mismanaged the economy, and someone comes into the office and in a short time achieve a lot in solving dumsor, constructing factories, roads and introduced free SHS, you would become desperate and confused,” he added.
He added that the former president disappointed his party supporters for saying and admitting that elections are won at the polling stations after going to the Supreme Court without any evidence.
