Recall, the two were involved in a heated banter on Hitz FM after Shatta Wale revealed that he has no idea about the amount of money he made from his “Magyiwo Girl” track with Sarkodie. According to Shatta Wale, his collaboration with Sarkodie should have been the biggest hit in Ghana yet he wasn’t able to make the required profit.
In response to his statement, Sadiq Abu who felt unease about Shatta Wale’s ranting stated that the artist is always making hollow statements and running in circles. He said on Hitz FM that it is a disgrace for an artist as big as Shatta Wale not to know how to make money from streaming platforms.
Of course, Shatta Wake did not take it lightly with him as he replies to Sadiq by saying that he aims at killing the perception that upcoming artists will not automatically become rich after sharing their songs on music platforms.
According to him, an artist needs to be treated the right way by the industry paying them their respective royalties and putting measures in place to check that revenues are being paid to the artist duly.
Well, Shatta Wale seems to have not made his point clear on the show ash he takes to Facebook to throw more shots at Sadiq.
In his post, he wrote; Change your mindset and stop hating ,poverty deh worry your brian too much ..aboa Sadik
