Well, the truth of the matter is that most media houses and online portals would prefer to make news public before seeking confirmation from the person. On many occasions have celebrities complained about false news published about them but that seems not to end since everyone is more focused on gaining traffic on the internet than doing the right thing.

It is at the back of this that Joe Mettle who was once rumored to be going out with TV3’s Berla Mundi has said that it has been very disheartening for false news to spread that fast before the media reaches out to them for confirmation.

Speaking in an interview on Hitz FM with Andy Dosty, Joe Mettle said that the media must focus more on the authenticity of the news before publishing them. He said such false news turns to ridicule their families and loved ones who have nothing to do with what trends on the digital platform.

In other news, Ghanaian media personality and Entertainment critic, Abena Ruthy ha stated that Sarkodie could have been the first Ghanaian artist to win a Grammy award if he had promoted his “Mary” album like he is doing to his “No Pressure” album.

For over a decade in the music game, Sarkodie has managed to entertain his Ghanaians with seven albums namely, Makye (2009), Rapperholic (2012), Sarkology (2014), Mary (2015), Highest (2017), Black Love (2019) and No Pressure (2021). These albums have put the rapper on the map and made his craft known but he is still unable to attain certain global stands most people are expecting him to do.
