Nutty Rankin
Nutty Rankin, one of Ghana’s versatile musicians, has released ‘Suro Onipa’, a song that cautions the listener to be vigilant in life, and is set to release the official music video on November 24.
Produced by Kibhans, ‘Suro Onipa’ is a reggae tune that features Assanqoma.
It seeks to drum home the need for one to be wary of man as the heart of man is full of evil. He stresses that the heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked.
“Be careful with the ones you share your problems with, who you tell your feelings to, the one you trust so much. Some of them are hypocrites, some of them are parasites”, he sings.
‘Suro Onipa’ comes after the release of ‘See Dem Coming’ which was enjoyed massive airplay.
Born Isaac Quarshie, Nutty Rankin is known for being one of the pioneers of reggae, dancehall music in Ghana.
