Asante Kotoko Chief Executive Officer Nana Yaw Amponsah has named his top four Black Stars players of all-time.
The former Ghana Football Association Presidential candidate list are mainly players he watched them play for the national team.
In an interview with Accra-based Starr FM he named three-time African Footballer of the Year, Abedi Pele, who was part of the squad that won Ghana its last Africa Cup of Nations in 1982.
Stephen Appiah who led Ghana to secure qualification to the World Cup for the first time in 2006 was included due to his leadership role.
He also Ghana’s all-time top scorer Asamoah Gyan and Tony Yeboah to the list to complete his top four Black Stars players of all-time.
“I will start with Abedi Pele, Asamoah Gyan. I’m mentioning those I have watched play. There are some I didn’t see, so I can’t [include them],”
“Stephen Appiah for his leadership. Tony Yeboah for what he did for Ghana and out there as an ambassador.”
