In other news, Ghanaian rapper, Chief Boateng Osei Bonsu, well known as Tulenkey has revealed one of the stressful and annoying parts of being a Ghanaian artist.
According to him, it has been a norm for upcoming artists to serve top stars before finally making it to the mainstream. He said that they would have to “kiss the a$$e$” of some musicians before they are given the opportunity to break through.
Speaking with Okyeame Quophi on Angel FM, Tulenkey revealed that he has been a victim of such situations. He stated that whenever he tries to voice out his opinion, he is being tagged as disrespectful because he refuses to bow to other artists before making it in the industry.
He mentioned that some artists have made their brands autocratic, thus it is very difficult for upcoming artists to pour out their sentiments.
