Ghanaian midfielder Emmanuel Boateng has finally been granted a visa to Sweden to continue his club career at IF Elfsborg.
Boateng agreed on a deal with the top-flight club Alpsburg from the Israeli side Hapoel Tel Aviv for €300,000 in the second week of August.
But has yet to meet his new teammates and technical team because his entry to Sweden was delayed.
Boateng waited a long time to get his entry and residence permits. Everything has been sorted now and the midfielder is expected in Sweden this weekend to commence his new journey.
A lot is expected of the 24-year-old who had a great time in Israel with Hapoel Tel Aviv. He joined them in 2018 and went on to feature 69 times for the reds.
