Sept. 3 (UPI) — Loretta Lynn has organized a star-studded benefit concert for Tennessee.

The 89-year-old country music star shared plans Friday for Loretta Lynn’s Friends: Hometown Rising, an event to raise funds for victims of the floods last month in Middle Tennessee.

Lynn recruited Garth Brooks, Trisha Yearwood, Luke Bryan and Luke Combs to perform at the concert. Nada and Storme Warren will serve as hosts, with additional artists to be announced.

“The flood that devastated our area has been awful, but love is stronger. I’m so grateful for my friends who are answering my call for us to all pitch in and help every way we can,” Lynn said on Instagram.

Hometown Rising will take place Sept. 13 at the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville. The event will air on Circle Network and stream on Circle All Access on Facebook, Twitter and YouTube.

Proceeds from the concert will benefit the United Way of Humphreys County.

18 people died and dozens of home were destroyed during severe floods in August in Tennessee.
