Sept. 2 (UPI) — Sony has announced a new, PlayStation Showcase event, which will live stream on Sept. 9 starting at 4 p.m. EDT.
The PlayStation Showcase will run 40 minutes and give fans a look into the future of PlayStation 5, the company said on the PlayStation Blog on Thursday.
New games coming to the console from PlayStation Studios and other developers this holiday season and beyond will be shown.
The next generation of PlayStation VR will not be a part of the presentation, however.
Fans can tune in through PlayStation’s official YouTube and Twitch channels. PlayStation also notes that fans should stick around after the presentation to get more updates from game developers.
Horror game GhostWire: Tokyo for the PlayStation 5 and PC from developer Tango Gameworks (The Evil Within) was delayed recently until early 2022.
