The ‘Highest’ rapper began his tour in neighboring Nigeria before he proceeded to Kenya and wrapped it up in Tanzania. After all the hectic schedules, Sarkodie decided to unwind with his squad at an unnamed location amidst a boat cruise.

In the video shared by www.Ghgossip.com, Sarkodie’s songs were played back to back as he celebrates the success of his album tour with a bottle of champagne with his crew members and indefatigable manager Angel Town (Angelo) while cruising on a boat.

Sarkodie was in the news recently when a sattue of him surfaced online evoking massive waves of reactions interlaced with effervescence.

The virtual work shows the statue sharing a close resemblance with the ‘No Pressure’ album creator that sees him standing on a tall pillar with a menacing lion by his side adding a touch of fearsomeness to the figurative undertone the creative work portrays.

Apparently, it turned out not to be a real statue but an artwork of the artist’s impression of how a statue carved in Sarkodie’s image might look like in reality. The artwork was posted by, @SterlingHood123, a Sarkodie fanatic. Sharing the image on his Twitter account, he wrote “Is About time @Sarkodie.”

See interesting comment that followed the post: “Even Philip Gbeho who wrote the national anthem we have not build any statue for him na Sark…… Which song sell Ghana done the national anthem,” @TOMAGA_GK tweeted.

Another Twitter user, @Isakaba_1 believes the rapper deserves the statue. He wrote “ah? U think ppl outside know the national anthem than Adonai or painkiller? Yh the man who wrote the national anthem may deserve a statue but this argument is a very weak argument”.
