Entertainment pundit Emmanuel Barnes popularly known in as Mr. Logic has advised musicians to pay “payola” to make sure their songs are played on air.
Mr. Logic disclosed that the only way the songs of musicians will be played is through paying payola to ensure that their music fetches them more royalties as their songs are being played on air.

In an interview with Andy Dosty on Daybreak, the entertainment pundit disclosed that Ghana Rights Organization (GHAMRO) has made an announcement and has made an agreement with some companies to monitor and track how songs of Ghanaian musicians are being played and how it is doing on radio, television and the digital platforms.
“This is the time to pay payola so you can benefit. Now you have to pay payola to be paid. Go and pay payola so the DJs can play your songs so you can be paid” he said.
This comes after dancehall artist Stonbwoy called out GHAMRO for paying him only GHc2,000 since he signed his rights to GHAMRO.

Mr. Logic believes that the new system introduced by GHAMRO after Stonebwoy called them out will help fixed through all measures taken by the organization.
“The system has been fixed. GHAMRO has fixed the country. So all you need to do is to pay to be played so you can be paid,” he added.
