Sept. 3 (UPI) — Duane “Dog” Chapman is a married man.
The former Dog the Bounty Hunter star married Francie Frane at a wedding Thursday in Colorado, he confirmed to E! News.
“Francie and I are thrilled to be husband and wife,” Chapman said in a statement. “We appreciate all the prayers and well-wishes.”
Chapman was previously married to Beth Chapman, who died in June 2019 following complications from cancer. Frane’s husband, Bob, died of cancer six months before Beth.
Frane told Entertainment Tonight prior to the wedding that she and Chapman would honor their late spouses at the ceremony and beyond.
“We have been doing that all along,” she said. “We have done that privately, and in our vows, we will be honoring them. We honor them all of the time … Throughout our life together, we will continue to do that. They will be a part of that always.”
Chapman confirmed his engagement to Frane in May 2020 and later said he and Frane would marry in September.
In August, Chapman’s daughters Cecily and Bonnie told TMZ that they were not invited to the wedding.
“I have a large family and most of them are going to be here for it. I love all my kids and it’s going to be great to have so many people here to celebrate,” Chapman told Us Weekly.
