Sept. 1 (UPI) — Filming is underway on the new Hulu series How I Met Your Father.
Series co-creator Isaac Aptaker shared an on-set photo Tuesday from the first day of filming on the How I Met Your Mother spinoff.
The picture gives a behind-the-scenes look at series stars Hilary Duff and Chris Lowell on set. The pair are seen filming a scene at a bar that is different from the HIMYM watering hole MacLaren’s.
HIMYF is created by Aptaker and Elizabeth Berger. The show takes place in the near future, as Sophie (Duff) tells her son the story of how she met his father. Sophie’s story takes place in 2021.
Hulu announced in April that it had ordered the spinoff-sequel to series.
The new show will also feature Francia Raisa, Tom Ainsley, Tien Tran and Suraj Sharma.
HIMYM had a nine-season run on CBS from 2005 to 2014. The series starred Josh Radnor, Jason Segel, Cobie Smulders, Neil Patrick Harris and Alyson Hannigan.
