Asante Kotoko board are set for a crunch meeting with the club’s Chief Executive Officer Nana Yaw Amponsah following an unimpressive performance in the just-ended Ghana Premier League campaign.
The meeting has been slated for Thursday, September 2, 2021 at the Adako Jachie training complex.
The Porcupine Warriors were unable to win any silverware last season losing league and the MTN FA Cup titles to sworn rivals Hearts of Oak.
Having endured a difficult 2020/21 campaign, the 12-member board headed Dr Kwame Kyei will meet with management headed by Nana Yaw Amponsah to discuss their report of the season.
Matters expected to be discussed at the meeting includes, the supposed disunity between some board members and the CEO, issues regarding coach Mariano Barreto, a possible new head coach, player transfers and others.
The board is expected to meet the Kotoko supporters group, the National Circles committee and discuss fabulous census, a program that seeks to count all Kotoko supporters.
