A 2014 Vampire Academy movie was written by Daniel Waters and directed by Mark Waters. Zoey Deutch, Lucy Fry, Gabriel Byrne and Sarah Hyland starred.

Stringer will play the lead, Rose Hathaway, whom Deutch played in the film. Rose is a Dhampir, half human, half vampire.
