Aug. 30 (UPI) — Drake will return with a new album this week.
The 34-year-old singer and rapper confirmed Monday that he will release his sixth studio album, Certified Lover Boy, on Friday.

Drake shared the news alongside cover art for the album. The cover features 12 pregnant mom emojis.

Drake had teased the release date in a cryptic clip that aired on ESPN’s SportsCenter last week. The clip showed a fan holding a sign that read “CLB September 3.”
Certified Lover Boy will be Drake’s first full album since Scorpion, released in 2018. Drake announced the new album in August 2020 but delayed its release in January.
Drake most recently released the EP Scary Hours 2 in March. The EP features the single “What’s Next.”
