According to the renowned Afrobeats singer, the music industry and Ghanaians as a whole have ignored the hard works he has done so far using his music career in promoting Ghana and Africa to the rest of the world.

Speaking in an exclusive interview this morning on the ‘Day Break Hitz’ morning show aired on Accra-based radio station Hitz FM and hosted by renowned disc jockey and on-air personality Andy Dosty, Fuse ODG revealed that the media and music lovers have neglected the fact that he’s the most streamed Ghanaian artist ever.

He added that Ghanaians don’t cherish and support their own artists confirming the statement of Ghanaian top rapper and the leader of the Sark Nation movement, Sarkodie that Ghanaians don’t support their own artists.

He lamented that he’s not much appreciated for his enormous contribution in promoting Ghana to the world through music. He added that most of his songs are mostly streamed in the United Kingdom and most African countries.

Fuse ODG also stated that Ghanaians should stop judging their artists using the Grammy Awards as a benchmark for their success. He said Ghana is way above the Grammy Awards and Ghanaians should begin cherishing their artists.
