Aug. 26 (UPI) — Whoopi Goldberg is set to host an upcoming ABC special that will celebrate 50 years of the Walt Disney World theme park.
The Most Magical Story on Earth: 50 Years of Walt Disney World will air Friday at 8 p.m. EDT on ABC.
Christina Aguilera and Halle Bailey, who is set to portray Ariel in a live-action remake of The Little Mermaid, are set to perform in front of Cinderella’s Castle at Walt Disney World.
Anthony Anderson, John Stamos, Marsai Martin, Joan Hart, Candace Cameron Bure and Gary Sinise, Tom Brady, Phil Simms, Doug Williams, Bob Weis, Mark Kohl, Ann Morrow Johnson, Kevin Feige, Peter Docter, James Cameron, Bob Chapek, Bob Iger, Michael Eisner and more will also be making appearances.
The special will explore Walt Disney World’s beginnings in the swamplands of Florida and look to the theme park’s future.
