Sarkodie has revealed that he was surprised and excited after his name popped up in the category of the Artiste of the Decade in the 20th Vodafone Ghana Awards.

It would be vividly recalled that the rapper was crowned the ‘Artiste of the Decade’ at the 20th edition of the Vodafone Ghana Awards. The rapper won the accolade in a closely contested 2019 edition of the Awards, beating out competition from peers who have worked similarly hard over the past decade.
One of the hotly fought categories this year was the ‘Artiste of the Decade,’ which was presented for the second time since the awards scheme began in 2000.
The award was coveted by R2Bees, Joe Mettle, No Tribe & Nacee, Shatta Wale, Okyeame Kwame, Stonebwoy, Samini, Efya, and Becca.
Sarkodie came out on top as he joined Kojo Antwi who was the first artiste to win the Artiste if teh Decade award.
Speaking in an interview upon his arrival in Kenya, Sarkodie revealed that he felt good receiving such accolades for his efforts and contributions to the music industry.

In other news, a lady has done a big ‘yawa’ after she bit off more than she could chew by mistakenly sending an explicit raunchy video to her church’s WhatsApp group.
It is not clear what happened to the lady’s phone, but when the video was sent to the group, the members were taken aback since they couldn’t believe one of their own had been consuming pornographic things.
Many people were perplexed as to how she could have such unholy stuff on her phone in the first place, given that she was a devout Christian.
