Aug. 24 (UPI) — Newly crowned Raw Tag Team Champions RK-Bro consisting of Randy Orton and Riddle celebrated their big victory and The Miz betrayed his best friend John Morrison on Raw.
Orton and Riddle defeated AJ Styles and Omos to become the new Raw Tag Team Champions on Saturday at SummerSlam. Riddle promised Orton he had a surprise for him during their championship celebration on Monday.
The Original Bro gifted Orton a custom made scooter that had Randy written over it. Orton seemed less than enthused about the scooter before Styles and Omos interrupted the party.
Riddle ended up facing Styles in a one-on-one match in the main event with Omos and Orton at ringside. The Viper took advantage of the scooter Riddle gifted him and used it as a weapon against Omos.
The attacked distracted Styles and allowed Riddle to perform the Bro Derek, which was enough to earn the three count. Orton later nailed Styles with an RKO and celebrated with Riddle as Raw went off the air.
The Miz and Morrison’s friendship came to an end after another installment of Morrison’s talk show, Moist TV. Morrison had Logan Paul as his special guest and became annoyed when The Miz arrived and started to pick a fight with Paul.
The Miz was then in action against Xavier Woods of The New Day. Morrison tried to help The Miz by using his signature Drip Stick, but the move keept the referee distracted from The Miz pinning Woods.
The Miz started arguing with Morrison, which led to Woods rolling him up for the three count.
The A-lister started blaming Morrison for losing and eventually started to vicoulsy assault his tag team partner. The Miz stomped on Morrison and punched him multiple times.
Charlotte Flair gloated about becoming Raw Women’s Champion once again with the feat giving her 12 total world championship reigns. Flair won the title after defeating Nikki A.S.H. and Rhea Ripley at SummerSlam.
The Queen said she started the women’s revolution in WWE and is now starting a new one before she was confronted by Alexa Bliss and her creepy doll Lilly.
Bliss keep it short by saying she and Lilly only wanted to say hi.
Other moments from Raw included WWE Champion Bobby Lashley’s match against Damian Priest ending early after Sheamus attacked Priest; Drew McIntyre and Priest defeating Lashley and Sheamus in a Tag Team Match after Lashley left Sheamus to fight for himself; Karrion Kross defeating Ricochet; Mansoor defeating Jinder Mahal by disqualification; Ripley and Nikki A.S.H. defeating Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler.
