One person who has been in the news for obvious reasons is Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie after sparking a controversial topic of how he thinks Ghanaians don’t support him enough.

Recall Sarkodie on his media tour ahead of his ‘No Pressure’ album listening session and promotion in Nigeria in one of his interviews lamented on how he thinks Ghanaians and the Ghanaian Industry, in general, doesn’t support his work and craft.
This statement from the Sark Nation boss has generated a lot of heat and controversy in the Ghanaian media space and on social media after many pundits and social media users believed the statement from the rapper stand to undermine the support the country has shown him over the years.
Recall Ghanaian rapper Obibinii reacting to the statement of the SarkCess boss jabbed him and tagging him as ‘ungrateful’. He said Ghanaians have been supporting him for years now to the extent that many musicians in the country including himself, envy the kind of support he has been receiving.
In a new interview, Sarkodie had with OnePlayAfrica, the rapper has revealed that although Ghanaians supported him, he had to work so hard to earn the kind of respect he’s enjoying now in the music industry.
It’s at this point that controversial Ghanaian YouTuber Kwadwo Sheldon reacting to the statement has tackled the rapper’s sense of entitlement as one that doesn’t actually make sense. He said if Sarkodie believes Ghanaians don’t support him enough, he can just move out of the country.
