Aug. 23 (UPI) — The casts of several Broadway musicals have signed on to perform at New York’s Broadway in Bryant Park concert — which is to be presented in conjunction with 106.7 LiteFM, Mercedes-Benz and Orgain — on Sept. 23.
The lineup will include the stars of Phantom of the Opera, The Lion King, Aladdin, Waitress, Chicago, Stomp, Six, Mrs. Doubtfire, Girl From the North Country, Caroline or Change, and Diana the Musical.
“Come discover new Broadway shows, reconnect with returning classics and see your favorite morning show team, Cubby & Christine!” the radio station said in a statement on its website.
“It’s going to be a wonderful day, so be sure to join us as it is a ONE DAY ONLY event! We look forward to having you experience Broadway In Bryant Park!”
Also co-hosting the free concert will be Broadway stars Rob McClure and Myles Frost.
Lawn seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Broadway is slowly reopening after it was shut down for more than a year due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Audience members will be required to be masked and vaccinated to attend indoor performances.
