Aug. 18 (UPI) — Universal’s Fast and Furious 10 will race into theaters on April 7, 2023, with filmmaker Justin Lin returning to direct.
Franchise leads Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Chris ‘Ludacris’ Bridges, Sung Kang, Jordana Brewster and Nathalie Emmanuel are expected to return after starring in F9, which hit theaters in June.
Jason Statham was teased during an end-credits scene of F9, setting him up to return in Fast and Furious 10.
John Cena, Charlize Theron, Kurt Russell and Helen Mirren also starred in F9 and could potentially return.
Dwayne Johnson, who starred in multiple Fast and Furious movies before he got into a feud with Diesel and Gibson, will not be returning for any sequels, Entertainment Weekly reports.
Universal previously announced that the action series will come to a close with the 11th film, which Justin Lin will direct.
