Ghanaian rapper and producer Skonti, real name Kojo Asante Opoku lost control of his emotions during a live interview on Hitz FM by breaking down in tears.

His inexplicable action was preceded by a question Andy Dosty asked him on whether he will team up with his former friend and rapper Nfemfem to ignite their indomitable fire again just like how it was when they formed a formidable group during the initial stages of his career.

At this juncture, the young man who is signed to Kwaw Kese’s Mad-Time Entertainment music label started crying. Andy Dosty consoled him but he still had no idea why he shed tears and of course, we do not have the slightest to ascribe for his action.

Skonti is the producer behind popular Ghanaian songs such as ‘Sweetio’ by Raquel, ‘Girlfriend’ by Edem and ‘Yakubu’ by Kwaw Kese.

In almost identical news, a radio personality has drawn parallel lines between the death of Dancehall/Reggae practitioners Ebony, Terry Bonchaka and Vybrant Faya during a radio discussion on Angel FM.

He said there’s an artiste in the music industry responsible for the deaths of the aforementioned musicians who were on their way to superstardom when their lives were cut short through a motor accident.

He however never mentioned the person’s name but dropped subtle clues while insisting their untimely deaths were not accidental or coincidental but were premeditated by an industry player who doesn’t want any musician to shine or achieve mainstream relevance.
