American talk show host Ellen DeGeneres, and her wife, Portia de Rossi, an actress, are celebrating their 13th wedding anniversary today, Monday, August 16.
Posting a lovely photo of themselves on her Instagram page, Ellen stated that she is the luckiest girl in the world to have Portia in her life.
“Happy anniversary, Portia. I’m the luckiest girl in the world because I get to share my life with you.” she wrote
The couple got married in 2008 at their Los Angeles home in front of 19 guests. Their wedding announcement came immediately after California’s Supreme Court struck down a law banning same-sex marriage.
