Ghanaian gospel musician, Lady PJ, born Julian Sackey has kicked against churches depositing money to banks noting that it helps worldly people to make money.

She indicated that the church monies should be given to church members to establish businesses to curb poverty by establishing welfare funds.
Speaking in an interview on Cape Coast-based Kastle FM, the singer emphasized that churches depositing monies in the bank are given to worldly people to rather prosper.
She said, “One church has deposited so much money Into its bank account but they won’t use such monies to help the church members.”
Lady PJ added, “Such monies are rather given to the worldly people as loans and they are rather prospering whilst most of the church members are poor,”
concluding her statement, she spewed,
“There should be a welfare fund where loans and monies should be given to the church members so they can work with it and help each other”.
