Noted, the Ghana Grid Company Limited better known as GRIDCo together with the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has been embarking on an exercise of changing electricity meters around the country.
The exercise which started a couple of years ago came to a standstill after customers started experiencing problems with the new prepaid meters and the recharge cards they use in servicing their meters.
Efia Odo seems to be no different from the rest of Ghanaians who have been complaining about the meter and how it consumes a lot of electricity or better still, a lot of credits after it has been recharged.
Taking to her official Twitter page to express how uncomfortable it is for her to use the newly deployed prepaid meters by the Electricity Company of Ghana. She said he now has to buy at least 500 Ghana Cedis worth of electricity credits every 10 days to be able to enjoy electricity power in her house.
500 cedis prepaid finished in 10days. This new meter is something else, smh!
Efia Odo together with some other social media influencers has been putting pressure on President Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo and his government to do more than their best to improve the lives of Ghanaians by ensuring the people never lack some basic social amenities.
