A die-hard Messi fan was left to tears after the club announced the departure of their legend, Lionel Messi due to a breakdown in the contractual agreement.
Yesterday, August 5, 2021, the La Liga club announced that they were unable to fulfil a new contract that had been agreed with the player due to “financial and structural obstacles”.
In a statement by the club on their official website, it was stated that they would have wished for the player to stay but financial and structural obstacles have made it impossible.
Moments after this shocking announcement, a Catalan fan stormed the premises of the v=club holding a lIonel Messi jersey and wept his heart out.
