Bridget Otoo previously served in various fields with TV3 Network Limited of Media General as a broadcaster and news anchor until she was allegedly suspended from the station a couple of months ago.

She has been in the news for the ‘good’ and ‘bad’ reasons on topics relating to the development and the governance of Ghana and is also an advocator for Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender Queer and Intersexual Community in Ghana.

She took took her official Twitter page to announce her new role as a broadcaster and the evening news achor for the station and also shared a clue of what she has been doing after she was suspended from TV3.

.@thenanaaba was the first person I heard these words from: “You can put a star in the middle of the ocean and they would still shine” bright like a diamond. These words never left me. It’s why I go in with everything I do, it doesn’t matter which corner or however small….

I sell cement in a corner and we sell a whole lot and compete like those on the main road. After two years, we purchased our own permanent spot on the main stretch and I still don’t have the desire to move there. We’ve done everything to move but I think about the drive & magic..

We’ve created in this little corner to make this name for ourselves and I don’t want to move. So please which ever ‘corner you get in this life, make the most of it and you would shine bright like a diamond and when your ‘Big Moment’ comes, you’d know how to handle it.

I remember how @Serwaa_Amihere also made news at 11:30 #Ghnews unmissable like, you’d watch on her Instagram or Twitter… cos she recognized the power and opportunity to shine in her “corner” and seized her moment… Thank you to everyone. #NewsNight#MetroNews
